Five-Star Basketball and the National Basketball Players’ Association have officially announced this summer’s virtual camp for July 19-21. Five-Star and the NBPA joined forces in 2019 to continue bringing world-class basketball instruction and experiences to grassroots basketball.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the NBPA has been able to connect with over 2,000 youth basketball players across 66 different countries by building high-quality virtual experiences. By finding the basketball industry’s best partners, the NBPA always leaves campers with tangible gifts on top of the wisdom that camp awards them. This year, exclusive NBPA kits will include branded NBPA masks, SLAM Magazines, and NBPA x Five Star uniforms presented by Champion.
NBA player appearances will be announced soon.
Founded in 1966, Five-Star has always maintained an emphasis on education at its basketball camps. Five-Star’s late and great founder, Howard Garfinkel, would be pleased to see training stations and NBA star lecturers at today’s camp sessions. Since partnering with the NBPA, lecturers have included Tobias Harris, Cole Anthony, Bam Adebayo, and James Wiseman – to name a few. Garfinkel was recently added to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2021.
Camp will run for about two and a half hours per day and is open to boys and girls ages 9-17. Follow the signup link below to learn more and enroll!
