Aug. 28: Five new COVID-19 cases reported in the Sarnia area - Sarnia Observer

Lambton Public Health reported Saturday there were five new local COVID-19 cases.

The number of recovered cases also increased by five, from the previous day, so the active local cases total remained 20.

There have been 3,687 local cases confirmed in the Sarnia area since the pandemic began and 3,598 are considered revolved, the public health agency said.

There have been 69 local deaths.
