Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor Have Reportedly Broken Up After Five Months of Dating - Vanity Fair

The couple just made their first official public outing at Wimbledon last month.

Just five months after a local Manchester, England Facebook group broke the news that they had started hanging out, Phoebe Dynevor and Pete Davidson’s fledgling relationship has reportedly already come to an end.

According to The Sun, the two stars apparently recently decided to call things off due to their busy work schedules which made it almost impossible to see one another as they’re currently dating long-distance. Dynevor is currently in the U.K. shooting season two of Bridgerton, while Davidson is based in New York. A source told the outlet, “Pete and Phoebe’s romance was a real whirlwind and from the start, they were both totally committed. But as time has passed, it’s become increasingly obvious it is going to be difficult to make this work.”

“Phoebe has had back-to-back filming dates with Bridgerton in the UK. Meanwhile, Pete has been back in the US filming Saturday Night Live. Alongside that he has just started working on a new film, Meet Cute, with Kaley Cuoco,” the insider continued. “Phoebe and Pete were last together in the UK in July but since he flew back to the States, he’s not seen her. Obviously all the travel restrictions because of the pandemic have not helped. People can’t just jump on planes and jet around the world when they want to. It has made everything more difficult. It was pretty telling when Phoebe headed to Croatia with her mates this week rather than going to see Pete in America.” They concluded, “It was wild while it lasted and they both really care for each other. But the distance has put a strain on them. Their mates think they make a great couple but the distance has made it completely unworkable. They had fun and will remain close but unless something drastic changes their relationship won’t recover.”

The pair were last spotted together at the beginning of July attending a match at Wimbledon in London, which also served as their first official public outing as a couple. But their relationship debut was slightly overshadowed by Davidson’s newest addition to his jewelry collection—an effigy of his Saturday Night Life boss, Lorne Michaels. The comedian’s passion for sentimental accessories for the people in his life also raises the question, what will become of his and Dynevor’s matching “PD” necklaces now?
