The added cases bring the EOHU’s cumulative total to 4,933 cases. Two of the new cases are in Cornwall, two in North Stormont, one in Hawkesbury, and two in Alfred & Plantagenet.

Not included in the EOHU’s count were three new cases in the northern portion of Akwesasne, which were disclosed by the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne on Tuesday afternoon. The MCA update also suggests the EOHU’s count on active cases is off— the new cases put the count at three from the MCA’s information, but the EOHU has three old cases still listed as active cases in its daily updates. The MCA says there have been 370 total cases within the northern portion of the community, whereas the EOHU’s count is 360.
