COVID-19: Five new cases, six recoveries - norfolktoday.ca

Over 3,000 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in residents of Haldimand and Norfolk since the beginning of the pandemic.

On Friday, five new cases and six recoveries were noted, bringing that total number up to 3,003.

Of that, there are currently 30 active cases in residents of the counties.

The new cases are in Dunnville, Delhi, Langton, and Courtland.

All negative cases: 66,866 

All positive cases: 3,003 (+5) 

Active cases: 30 (-1) 

Recovered: 2,918 (+6) 

COVID-related deaths: 48   

Non-COVID-related deaths: 7 

LTC Outbreaks: 0

VACCINES   

–  156,776 doses of the vaccine have been received from the ministry.    

144,141 doses, or 91.9 per cent, have been administered locally   

-64,124 individuals in the area have completed their vaccine series   

170,944 doses have been administered anywhere to a resident of Haldimand-Norfolk   

98.1 per cent of residents in Long Term Care are fully vaccinated
