Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today.
As well, the number of people in hospital with the virus is down by one, to 13, and there are now five people in critical care, down from seven on Monday.
Of the five new confirmed cases today, three are in the Eastern Health region and two are in the Central region.
There are also two new presumptive positive cases in the province and 12 recoveries, leaving 153 active cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Officials have also issued several more advisories regarding possible exposures. They include:
Bayside Café, 368 Highway, Head of Bay D’Espoir, on Tuesday, September 28 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.; Wednesday, September 29 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.; Friday, October 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Monty’s Place Restaurant, Trans-Canada Highway, Whitbourne on Friday, October 1 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Robin’s Donuts, Trinity Conception Square, 120 Columbus Drive, Carbonear on Saturday, October 2 from 12 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
People who visited those locations and have symptoms of COVID-19 are required to isolate until 24 hours after their symptoms resolve and they receive a negative test result.
