The Murray State Racers volleyball team (8-6, 2-2 OVC) suffered its second conference loss of the season to Morehead State (6-9, 2-2 OVC) in five sets, 25-21, 18-25, 25-22, 14-25, 6-15.
Three Racers recorded double-digit kills in the five setter, led by Brooke Lynn Watts who picked up her second straight double-double with team-high 20 kills and 11 digs.
Alexa Harris put down 14 kills with one solo block and nine digs while Kolby McClelland added 12 kills and three block assists and one ace in the match.
Libero Becca Fernandez was once again all over the court as she collected 33 digs. Dahlia Miller also came up with double-digit digs, 15 in the match.
Meanwhile, setter Bailey DeMier dished out 46 assists with nine digs, four kills and two aces.
The Racers will stay on the road next weekend as they head to UT Martin for two games on Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. and Oct. 9 at 11 a.m.
