In the Heat of the Night – Calgary Zoo/Wilder Institute
For the 28th year, the Calgary Zoo is hosting its Heat of the Night event on Feb. 12-14. For adults only, the evening brings an unforgettable zoo experience featuring a four-course dinner made by an award-winning culinary team. Also, the event features an “adults only” presentation about “how animals show love in the wild.”
Tickets range from $105 to $115 and can be purchased on the Calgary Zoo website.
Harry Potter Trivia – Hudsons Shawnessy
Whether you and your partner are trying to test your skills, or you are trying to find someone who can match your knowledge of the popular franchise, this event may be the one for you.
Taking place at Hudson’s Shawnessy location on Feb. 14, the event will test participants’ knowledge of the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth Harry Potter instalments.

Valentine’s chocolate and beer pairing evening – Hard Knox Brewery
On Valentine’s Day, Hard Knox Brewery will be hosting a country-style evening with games, a charcuterie board for two, six chocolate Bon Bons paired with three of the brewery’s best beers.

The Right Swipe Single’s Dinner – KingsWord Calgary
For those looking to meet new people on Valentine’s Day, KingsWord Calgary will be hosting the Right Swipe event. on Feb. 13, the evening will feature a red carpet, games, music, dance, a three-course meal and much more, according to the event page.

Tribute to Elton John – Pure Casino Calgary
Don’t let the sun go down on your Valentine’s Day Weekend without three solid hours of the songs of Sir Elton, paired with a three-course dinner. You will feel the love that night (Feb. 12) as Rob Skeet and the Husky Tower Band hopefully play your song and other sad songs for a long, long time.
