At least five people were injured, two of them critically, in avalanches near Pemberton on Saturday.
BC Emergency Health Services says it was called about two backcountry slides in the area of Cassiope Peak around 1 p.m.
Two helicopters and four ground ambulances were deployed to Pemberton.
BCEHS said two people were airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital in critical condition.
Three others, two of them in serious condition and one of them in unknown condition, were taken to the Whistler clinic.
Global News has requested more information from Pemberton RCMP and Pemberton Search and Rescue.
