Five people were shot early Saturday morning at a bowling alley in Windsor’s east end, according to police.

Police were on scene at a business in the 10000 block of Tecumseh Road East shortly after the incident occurred, between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police say one shooter fired into a crowd of about 20 people, hitting five. All five are in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the scene.
“There’s no concern for further public danger,” Acting Windsor Police Chief Jason Bellaire said Saturday morning during a press conference at the downtown police headquarters. “The incident appears to be isolated to the event.”
The Windsor Police major crime unit is continuing its investigation.
