While the weather kicking off the weekend is a little shaky, Saturday, Sunday and Monday are all forecasting weather of at least 10 C and sunny, with a high of 17 C on Monday.

One thing to remember during May long weekend is adjusted hours for many establishments. A quick google search or phone call to wherever you and yours plan on going this weekend will ensure no one is missing out.

Many grocery and liquor stores will remain open, but possibly not the hours of a normal weekend. That also goes for malls, cinemas, art galleries and leisure centres as well.

Calgary Transit also adjusts its hours, so it’s worth checking out their trip planner feature before making any commuting decisions.

According to a City of Calgary press release, On May 23, payment is not required for on-street ParkPlus zones and holiday rates will be in effect at Calgary Zoo and Heritage Park.
